Drop-In Volleyball
Drop-in volleyball is available in the gym on Tuesday nights
from 7:30 – 10:30 pm (except when league is in progress). It’s a great
opportunity to meet other players and become involved in “pick-up” games.
Adult Volleyball Leagues (Winter, Spring & Fall)
Leagues generally run for six consecutive Tuesdays and depending on
sign-ups, consist of four co-ed teams of four to eight players. The league
fee is generally $20 - $25 dollars, which includes a t-shirt, end of the
league social and prizes for the champions. Contact the Activities Desk to
register for the next league or for more information.
Volleyball Clinics
To help you better your game, ClubSport will be having some volleyball
clinics this year. Take advantage of this great opportunity to learn some
new skills and tips to enhance your play. Keep an eye out for upcoming
clinics and special volleyball events
Bio for Volleyball Pro Randy Cahn
ClubSport of San Ramon’s Volleyball coordinator, Randy Cahn has been
coordinating the clubs different leagues and clinics since September 2000.
He has helped develop the volleyball program and continues to offer his
knowledge and skills to our leagues.
Randy’s past experiences are all related to recreation and volleyball.
Some of his accomplishments are as follows: Volleyball instructor at San
Diego State University, Assistant Intramural Director at the University of
San Diego, Volleyball Official at the international level and below
(college, high school and club), Parks and Recreation Commissioner for the
City of Dublin and Varsity volleyball coach at California High School.
Currently Randy teaches Health & Work Experience at California High School
in San Ramon. He is a coach for the youth sports, assignor of volleyball
officials for the East Bay Volleyball Officials Association, a volleyball
official at the High School, Junior Varsity Volleyball coach at California
High and director of the San Ramon Valley Day Camp. With all of Randy’s
volleyball experience and knowledge of the sport, we are very pleased to
have him on board.
