Group Swim Lesson Descriptions:
Parent-Tot:
Ages 6 months - 3 years
Time: 11:30-11:55am
Ratio: 6 students to 1 instructor
Description: This water introduction program helps the parent and the child get used to the water and see the pool as fun. Parents and children play games that introduce basic, introductory water skills such as blowing bubbles, breath control, kicking and floating. The class focuses on water orientation and encourages parents and babies to trust each other in the water.
Pre-School:
Ages 3-5 years
Time: 11:30-11:55am
Ratio: 4 students to 1 instructor
Description: Comfortable in the water, bobbing (fully submerging head), float on front and back (with assistance)
Beginners (1/2):
Ages 6-12 years
Time: 11:00-11:25am
Ratio: 6 students to 1 instructor
Description: Comfortable in the water, bobbing (fully submerging head), float on front and back, combining arms and legs
Intermediate (3/4):
Ages 6-12 years
Time: 10:30-10:55am
Ratio: 6 students to 1 instructor
Description: Float on front and back for 15 seconds, Freestyle and Backstroke 15 yards (length of the Jr. pool), start side breathing, starting breaststroke and butterfly
Advanced (5/6):
Ages 6-12 years
Time: 10:00-10:25am
Ratio: 6 students to 1 instructor
Description: Freestyle with side breathing 25 yards (length of the lap pool), Backstroke for 25 yards, Elementary backstroke for 25 yards, Butterfly for 25 years, Sitting/Kneeling Dive/Treading Water
Adult & Teen Swim Lessons:
Ages 13 and up
Time: 6:00-6:25pm
Ratio: 6 students to 1 instructor
Description: These lessons are unique in that they are catered to everyone specifically. The group dynamic encourages growth and positive learning. In these lessons, the foundation is focused on general water safety. Everything else is up to you!

Instructors:
ClubSport San Ramon Aquatics Manager, Chris Rodinsky, comes to ClubSport San Ramon with 11 years coaching experience, and over 20 years’ experience as a competitive swimmer.
Marlins Head Coach, Kim Leslie, has 40+ years of Aquatics experience and has 30+ years of coaching background. Coach Kim swam both competitively for USA Swimming and Rec Leagues across the Bay Area.
Swim Coach, John Reimer, has been coaching for 10 years. He swam competitively both in High School and College.
Lifeguard/Junior Assistant Coach, Kaitlyn Straka, has been competitively swimming in the area for 4 years for Diablo Aquatics. She also swims for Monte Vista High’s team and received a Varsity letter her freshman year. She loves swimming and is always ready to cheer her team on!

Cancellation Policy:
Classes are subject to cancellation if fewer than 3 swimmers are registered for the class by the first day of the session.
Cancellations must be received 7 days prior to the start of the session to receive a refund.
Make up lessons or refunds will not be given due to cool/rainy weather.
Missed swim lessons or portions of lessons CANNOT be made up under any circumstances.
